Fushigi Yuugi Episode Novelizations
One day in the beginning of the Gateway, I was trying to write a short summary of FY Episode One, to start a complete episode synopsis section for our page. But as I wrote, I realized that I had just too much to say for a simple summary. I wanted to do more than write "then this happened, and this, and this is how the ep ends". So I let myself go all-out, and lo--my Novelizations were born. ^^
I love to read, I love to write, and I love Fushigi Yuugi. For me, these writings are an incredibly fun combination of all three.
In the end, my Novelzations are written for one person--myself. I am very interested in Japanese culture, and have always preferred the "fansub" way of subtitling. Hence, Japanese name order is used (Yuuki Miaka instead of Miaka Yuuki) and name suffixes are retained. I also am studying Japanese, and have been able to read and write it for over two years now. As I write out my Novelizations, I retain some of the original Japanese. I start simply in Chatper One, and go up from there. But fear not!!! I am a firm believer of learning everything you can about something you enjoy--which for us, is ANIME!
