Notes:

1. When Takuto speaks to Serika and Yuugo's parents, his language is very formal. Up to this point, we have only seem him talking to his patient, whom we know he does not really respect. And of course, Takuto shows his lack of respect by using rough language. Unfortunately, English does not have the levels of politeness that are so obvious in Japanese, which creates problems when trying to show the difference in speech patterns.

2. A "futon" is a traditional Japanese-style bed. It is a large mat, ususally a couple inches thick, and is laid flat out on the floor for sleeping, along with blankets and pillows. The main advantage of a futon over a "normal" Western-style bed is that when you aren't sleeping on it, a futon can be folded or rolled up and placed out of the way, ususally inside a closet or cabinet for that purpose. This frees a large amount of space in your room. Nifty idea, ne?

3. I left the sound effect for Serika's opening door untranslated. I could not come up with any good sound word in English for the noise of a normal, non-squeaky door opening. "Clunk"? "Clank"? "Thump"? >< I finally decided that "Gacha" works for me!!
