Notes:

1. "She said her legs were too thick--something like that--so she stopped right after we changed schools." No translation quibbles here, I just thought this line was interesting. I don't know a single woman or girl who would stop playing a sport she was good at just because she was building too much muscle. Again, we witness the difference between the ideal Japanese woman vs ideal Western woman. Japanese girls are supposed to be soft, gentle, and graceful. Western woman are supposed to be strong, muscular, and athletic. Hmmmm....

2. "This is so wrong...tako!". Tako is Japanese for "octopus", and is a choice insult. I decided to leave it untranslated for fun. If you know Hana Yori Dango, "tako" is Tsukushi's favorite name for Doumyouji. Thus, it has sentimental value for me. "Awww...Kouji said 'tako'!" *grins*
