1. "Miiin miiin miii". These are sound effects for cicada chirps. Or to my ears, cicada shrieks. (I do NOT like the sounds those nasty things make!) I could not think of any English equivalents that did the original Japanese justice, so I decided to just convert the words to romaji (English letters) for everyone.
